The previous owner had the locomotive modified by a professional engineer to produce a reliable running engine - the work apparently a success, the engine steamed freely and ran well on test in our workshop earlier in the week, without need of the blower on the rolling road. Valve events were good, with square, sharply defined exhaust beats.
The boiler has had hydraulic and steam tests with new certification issued.
A well-detailed model of good proportions, the paintwork remains in excellent condition.
