The basis of the project was a locomotive with failed boiler. A new scheme was worked out with a pair of SLK NP22-12 22Ah batteries and two 24 volt MY1025 250 watt motors installed in the tender driving all three axles by chain.
Motors are driven by a 4QD DNO-10 controller with remote handset for speed and direction control, along with a dead man's handle switch.
Complete with a set of handwritten notes comprising a comprehensive build diary.
