5 inch gauge LMS 0-6-0T "Butch" - stock code 7304

A nicely-built 5 inch gauge 0-6-0T locomotive to Kennions "Butch" design. Machining is all crisply done, fit and finish of the valve gear and motionwork is good.

Pretty much ideal as a beginner's engine for either a garden railway or club running. All the "works" are outside the frames, easy to oil and maintain. The boiler is a free steamer, able to cope with less than expert firing.
