We sold this one back in 2011, pretty much exactly the same condition as it is now. Pictures opposite were taken in the last few days.
A classic stalled restoration project, it appears the engine was taken apart years ago for an overhaul and repaint - so it is that many engines end up in a number of boxes... Chassis rolls along freely, back in 2011 we did a twice working pressure hydraulic test on the boiler and reported it ok - doesn't look like it's done a lot of steaming since.
Missing some parts, including cab roof, lubricator, dome, chimney and grate.
