A large 4-6-4 tank locomotive, built to Henry Greenly's "Halton Tank" design - the original was built by apprentices at RAF Halton. This one was completed in 1971 - well made, it's obviously seen a good deal of use over the years. Boiler is nutted and calked, gunmetal cylinders have piston valves actuated by Walschaert's gear.
Unused for several years, it rolls freely and runs on air.
