When, some years and a house move later the project stalled, the engine was found to have lost its motionwork and various other bits and pieces - what you see here is everything we have of the engine and its tender.
The boiler has historic club certification. On hydraulic test there were several pinhole leaks around the safety valve boss, but it otherwise looked dry.
Based on Churchward's elegant "Saint" design, "Halls" are very rarely modelled in this gauge, possibly due to the popularity of Martin Evans' slightly smaller "Torquay Manor" design.
