A well-built 5 inch gauge Great Western 57XX pannier tank - it's come to us from a gentleman in Cambridge, a retired academic who used to run it occasionally at his local club.
The engine hadn't been used in some years when arrived. It's been through the workshop, only thing of note was the original safety valve which accumulated mightily - a replacement valve sorted the problem.
We've had several of these over the years - it's a design I like. A good-looking, useful-sized club engine, not too big to handle and easy to drive with its open cab (and lack of tender - the controls are all right in front of you!)
