Another "barn find" engine, this one a 5 inch gauge GWR Manor to the Martin Evans design.

The engine is complete and turns over freely, the commercially built boiler by Chambers has had a hydraulic test with certification issued for same - we would warranty as sound.

Work required includes:

  • Leaking whistle valve requires servicing or replacement
  • Regulator seized
  • Safety valves don't seat reliably
Cosmetically the paintwork is a complete mess, it's time for a strip down, overhaul and repaint.
