Silver soldered copper boiler with superheaters, working pressure 80psi, feed by crosshead pump and injector with hand pump in bunker. Conventional spring-type safety valve concealed beneath dummy prototypical valves. Cast iron cylinders with slie valves actuated by Stephenson's gear, screw reverser in cab. Hydrostatic lubricator with sight feed in cab. Stainless steel ashpan. Stephenson's valve gear with screw reverser in cab, sight feed lubricator with prototypical regulator-linked atomiser valve, dummy triple sight feeder mounted on right hand side of the cab.
Backhead is well-detailed, the rear of the cab and roof removed as a single piece for driving.
Complete with a well thought-out carrying cradle - it locates over the engine whilst still on the track, a pair of bars clamping in place beneath the buffers which locks the locomotive into the cradle. The whole plot can then be lifted clear and put on the bench, leaving the engine wheels clear of the deck.
