5 inch gauge GWR 0-6-0PT 5700 - stock code 7046

An older example of LBSC's "Pansy" design, a well-built engine that steams freely.

Silver soldered copper boiler, feed by axle pump and injector with auxiliary hand pump in side tank. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear, pole reverser in the cab. Mechanical lubricator. Paintwork is presentable although has been retouched in places.

This one has come to us from the son of the late owner, a man who was still building well into retirement, a 5 inch gauge B1 the last project on his bench.
