A 5 inch gauge "Gert", an engine we sold some years ago for a beginner to cut his teeth on, it's come back as he has moved up to something more magnificent.

Silver soldered copper boiler with superheaters, working pressure 80psi, feed by axle pump with hand pump in the side tank. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear, pole reverser in cab, manually operated drain cocks, mechanical lubricator.
