The boiler has had a hydraulic test with new certification issued, the engine rolls freely and runs well on air in either direction.
The Stroudley type regulator has, at some stage in the past seized resulting in both link arms being broken. It will need to be taken out and new arms fabricating and fitting.
A worthwhile project, the work required more time-consuming than expensive in parts.
