A 5 inch gauge "Butch" 0-6-0T, a well made engine that steams freely and runs nicely, although requiring some work to bring up to scratch.

The silver soldered copper boiler has had a hydraulic test with new certification issued. The safety valves accumulate and will require servicing or replacement to pass a steam test. The injector works although is a little fussy, requiring careful balancing of steam and water to operate, the hand pump proved a reliable alternative.

The regulator is "all or nothing", which - whilst it works - would reward further investigation.
