A part-assembled Winson kit-build 5 inch gauge "Britannia". It's come to us in part-exchange from a man who bought it new. He tells us the chassis has run on air at some point - it certainly turns over freely.
A house move has meant that some parts have been mislaid, however from what we can see it's largely complete - and certainly the big, expensive bits are there. Can't see any smoke deflectors, firebox cladding and one running board is missing. Some fittings are already installed on the boiler (including a rather nice Doug Hewson manifold), tender is largely complete.
Whilst these take work to get going, there is nowadays much information about modifications and improvements available online - we've had several in over the years that have run well.
