Possibly the last kit supplied by the company, this locomotive was acquired as part of a job lot when the company went into administration alongside several large boxes of spare parts for other designs.

Built "out of the box", the engine runs surprisingly well in both directions on compressed air, though the reverser gearbox is immensely stiff - a well-documented fault of the design, most of the ones we've seen have exhibited the same symptom, requiring careful disassembly and fettling to make good.

The boiler proved sound on hydraulic test and comes with certification for same.

A one-owner engine, it shows signs of a handful of steamings.
