The engine has come to us as part of a large collection of locomotives and traction engines - the locomotives kept for display in the owner's house, unsteamed.
Boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test - we would warranty as sound however, in the absence of previous documentation, it will require lifting from the chassis and the cladding removed for a shell test before certification could be issued.
The chassis runs on air in a fairly desultory manner, although we'd expect this to improve under steam once recommissioned.
The pressure gauge reads incorrectly and will need replacing, along with the missing grate and ashpan.
