An older engine, the boiler has had hydraulic and steam tests with new certification issued - on test it proved free steaming, maintaining pressure on the rolling road without need of the blower.
The injector worked well, with slight overflow; the hand pump proved effective. Safety valves lift reliably, although sometimes needing a light tap with the shovel to reseat.
Offered as a running restoration, the bottom end is coming up to needing a light overhaul, with some rebushing required.
