45mm gauge LMS Duchess "City of St Albans" 4-6-2 - stock code 13231

A gauge 1 gas-fired "Princess Coronation" Pacific by Bowande, No. 46253 "City of St Albans" in British Railways livery.

Complete with purpose built transport box and display case, the locomotive is in excellent condition showing signs of little if any use.

The engine runs freely with something of an "all or nothing regulator", although we found it shy-steaming - we suspect the original fitment ceramic burner is somewhat underpowered for the boiler.

Complete with original manufacturer's manual, boiler and gas tank certificates, a gas tank filling nozzle and rolling road.

Given the fragile nature of the glass case, we'd prefer collection from our works. Alternatively, if you don't want the case, we can offer free UK shipping for the locomotive and tender.
