A kit-build 4 inch scale Ruston Proctor 3 ton steam tractor. It's come from a man who bought it new in 2000, he had virtually completed it when a combination of ill health and anno domini brought a halt to the project - it's been untouched in some years; with a move to a smaller house the engine has had to go.
Largely assembled, it requires big end, safety valves, grate and ashpan fitting and various small fitting and pieces of pipework. There is a box of parts, some in original bags, which the owner believed contained everything to finish the engine.
Complete with assembly drawings, original manufacturer's boiler certificate, along with a club hydraulic certificate issued soon after the kit was bought.
Little expenditure required to get this on the rally field this season, other than some time in the workshop.
