A well-built 4 inch scale Foster agricultural engine to the well-regarded Live Steam Models design, the subject of an extensive overhaul last year including fitting a new boiler and smokebox. The engine is in first rate mechanical order and runs particularly well - Ashley was impressed with this one when he drove it last week.
CE-marked steel boiler by AJB Engineering, welded construction with expanded steel tubes, 120psi working pressure. Feed by mechanical pump and injector. Cast iron cylinder with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's gear. Mechanical lubricator. Pickering type governor.
Two road speeds with differential, winch behind nearside rear wheel with fairleads mounted on tender. Rubber tyres in good condition.
Road-registered and complete with a driver's seat, passenger trolley, steam-raising blower and governor belt.
