A professionally-built boiler and various machined parts for a 4 inch scale Burrell DCC road locomotive, to drawings supplied by Live Steam Models.

Comprises:

• Steel boiler, expanded steel tubes, bush for fusible plug
  Complete with initial 400psi hydraulic test certificate for 200psi working pressure and all associated paperwork

• Boiler manhole cover and gasket

• Smokebox tube

• Front ring and smokebox door

• Formed and machined hornplates

• Perch bracket machined to fit smokebox

• Front axle machined from solid

• Rolled chimney with copper cap

• Pair dynamo rail castings

• Set of smokebox door and dynamo bracket makers plates

All machining work bar the front axle was done by Live Steam Models, who also supplied the boiler. They can supply all castings and drawings for this engine, which can be built up as "Simplicity", the 8nhp Showmans engine, or as a road locomotive.

Alternatively, it could be used for pretty much any project needing a large boiler, either road vehicle or locomotive.
