A 4 inch scale Burrell agricultural engine, completed in 1993 and at first running on strakes, it was put onto rubber tyres in 2003, the boiler was retubed in 2014 by John Rex. Paintwork is tired, however the engine runs well - there's a clip of Jon giving it a run here.
Steel boiler with expanded tubes, 100psi working pressure, feed by injector and mechanical pump. Ramsbottom safety valves. Cast iron cylinder with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's gear with pole reverser, mechanical lubricator.
Two speed, three shaft transmission with differential, winch behind nearside rear wheel with fairleads on tender. Rubber tyres fitted to steel bands over strakes.
Complete with a functional, if fairly basic, driving/passenger truck.
