Well painted when first built, it now needs some light cosmetic refurbishment - spraying in the cylinder block and front end in black, followed by a seriously good clean, would transform the look of the thing.
The engine has been serviced in our works, the boiler hydraulic and steam tested with thickness readings taken & new certification issued. Work done at this time included:
The engine steams freely and runs very well - the tender-mounted seat with jockey wheel providing a comfortable perch from which to drive.
Offered complete with firing irons, a starter kit of coal and water, and 12 months warranty. We would be more than happy to give half a day's instruction on the steaming, running and disposal of the locomotive to a new owner.
