Since arriving with us the boiler had had internal inspection and hydraulic test with cladding off - condition of boiler plates and tubes both inside and out is good.
Whilst in the workshop the regulator has been modified to our standard PTFE design, which is steam tight and light to operate.
Paintwork, in lined out Burrell maroon, was done to a high standard originally and remains in excellent condition - the water bowser painted and lined to match. Both engine and bowser have bonded rubber tyres.
The engine steams freely and runs well. It is offered with full boiler certification and 12 months warranty, complete with firing irons and extension chimney for steam raising.
