A 4 1/2 inch scale Foden steam wagon, completed in 2008. It's in good condition, paintwork is well done and signwritten, we've all had a go on this one and been impressed at how well it goes - there's a clip of it running around the estate here.

Steel boiler with expanded tubes by John Rex, 150psi working pressure, feed by mechanical pump and injector. Twin cylinder, double-high working with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear with pole reverser, mechanical lubricator. Three speed transmission with chain drive to rear axle, pmeumatic tyres fitted all round.

Driving position is good, you sit on the bed with feet in the foot well. The "Pope-mobile" seat on the back is capacious and comfortable if lacking in a certain aesthetic charm - it could easily be removed if you don't like the look of it (and assuming your granny doesn't want to come to rallies).
