Of freelance design, this old scratch-built traction engine is well-made and
nicely proportioned. Double-acting slide valve cylinder and gear drive to the
back wheels, which can be disengaged and the engine ticked over out of gear.
Copper water-tube boiler with safety valve and water gauge.
The engine doesn't have a burner and apparently has never been finished with
conventional steering gear, although some parts are included including the
steering worm and wheel.
