A gauge 1 LMS 4F to the "Project" design, by some margin the finest example we've seen of this popular design.

Build quality is to a high standard throughout with much added detailing - fit and finish of machined parts is good, the platework neatly formed.

The boiler has had a hydraulic test with new certification issued.

The locomotive runs well in both directions, albeit needing some encouragement to get started. We suspect that it's been test-steamed only once or twice - it has the feel of a new engine that will improve with running.
