One of a class of three locomotives built for the Penrhyn Slate Quarries of North Wales between 1882 and 1893, sister engines "Linda" and "Blanche" run to this day - in 2-4-0ST form - on the Ffestiniog Railway. "Charles" is preserved, on static display, in the Penrhyn Castle Museum.
Fitted with radio control. set up for one-handed operation with both regulator and reverser mapped to the left hand joystick.
Complete with manufacturer's documentation including handbook and original test certificates for boiler and gas tank, along with a purpose built wooden carrying box.
