A venerable example of a Wallis & Steevens "Simplicity" steam roller in 3 inch scale, built to the Plastow design. An older engine, it was reboilered in recent times with a new Western Steam boiler, it has reputedly run little since. Very grubby, requiring some reassembly to fit boiler cladding, motion covers and canopy.
Silver soldered copper boiler, feed by injector and axle pump. Twin spring type safety valves. Cast iron cylinder with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's gear, pole reverser, mechanical lubricator. Single speed transmission with differential.
