3 inch scale Fowler parts, boiler & castings - stock code 3546

A set of castings and boiler for a Fowler DCC agricultural, basically an off-road B6, the so-called "Fen engine" named after the machine built in the 1920s for Smith's Crisps who used it to haul huge trailers of potatoes off the fen at Nocton, about three miles from my workshop. Complete with a set of the Maurice Sedgewick drawings, the design builds up into a large, powerful engine.

From the same establishment as the four inch Foster I currently have in stock, these castings are untouched from new. The boiler was commercially built, welded steel with expanded tubes and bushed for a fusible plug. It is complete with original paperwork, hydraulic tested at 300psi for 150psi working.

I've never had a three inch scale version of this engine in, but if you've seen it in the archive you won't have forgotten the superb four inch one I had three or four years ago.
