A well-built 3 inch scale Foster agricultural engine. Whilst seemingly ubiquitous in 4 inch scale, we rarely see a 3 inch version - don't know why, as it makes a large, attractive engine in this scale.
This one came in recently as a part exchange against a 4 inch scale Foster - it's a free-steaming, attractively proportioned engine.
Boiler is by the estimable Tony Baldwin of AJB Boilers, it's had recent hydraulic and steam tests with certification issued for same.
Paintwork is in a dark Lincoln green which looks well, wheels in vermillion.
Complete with a set of driver's footrests and a nicely made driving truck with large plastic auxiliary water tank and space for coal and tools within.
