We sold this one last year, it's recently come back in part exchange from a long term customer, a highly capable builder in his own right. Condition pretty much unchanged from last time it was here, pictures opposite and words below from 2020.

A 3 inch scale Foden steam wagon, built with tipper bed. An older engine, it requires some restoration, including:

  • Adjustment of valves and eccentric setting - runs in reverse, not forwards
  • Attention to crankshaft - flywheel and gear side mainshaft run out slightly.
  • Rebushing big & little ends
The copper boiler has club history, we've hydraulic tested and issued new certification for same in recent days.
