A well made 3 inch scale Burrell to the Plastow design, complete with driving trolley.

Commercially-built silver soldered copper boiler, working pressure 90psi, feed by mechanical pump and injector, steam water lifter fitted to tender. Three cock commercial water gauge. Cast iron cylinder with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's gear with pole reverser. Rod-operated drain cocks, the mechanical lubricator mounted behind the cylinder is a commercial type featuring one-way clutch drive, recently fitted.

Two road speeds with differential, winch behind nearside rear wheel with fairleads mounted on the tender.

In the last 12 months the engine has had most of the wearing bushes professionally replaced, including the big end - it's one of the quietest traction engines I've driven this year.
