It's a technically interesting design, with twin cylinder poppet valve engine having variable timing effected by sliding cams. The engine runs on air in either direction in rather lumpy fashion, we'd expect it to run better under steam.
The boiler has had a hydraulic test with new certification issued - structurally sound, there was nothing to note other than a barely perceptible damp patch on the foundation ring and a leaky fusible plug which requires re-leading.
