Bit of a rare bird this one. In 1957 LBSC designed a large narrow gauge engine to run on 1 3/4 inch gauge track - it was similar in size to most 3 1/2 inch gauge locomotives. At the same time, he sketched out a doubled up version to run on 3 1/2 inch gauge track - the engine alone was a yard long, without tender.
Rolling chassis comprising frames, wheels and axles, horns, buffer beams, leading and trailing pony trucks.
Now in 7 1/4 inch gauge, I could get really interested in one of these...
