A 3 1/2 inch gauge "Tich" 0-4-0T, LBSC's classic beginner's tank locomotive, in its original small boiler form with Walschaerts valve gear.

On hydraulic test the boiler held pressure well until the water gauge seals failed; it has a nutted and calked firebox with soft solder calking to the backhead.

The chassis is stiff to turn over although without tight spots - it needs stripping, cleaning and oiling, then reassembling.
