New and unsteamed, the boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test with no sign of deflection or structural defect - it looks to be well made with neat flanging and good solder penetration, we would warranty it as sound.
There's a leak from screws securing the right hand side boiler mounting bracket which could be sealed with Loctite or PTFE paste, and a few fittings leak on the backhead which need removal and replacement - again PTFE paste works well here.
The chassis turns over freely although doesn't currently run, with air passing the valves.
