An older engine that appears not to have been steamed in many years, it's fairly stiff to turn over although without tight spots - it needs cleaning and lubricating.
Paintwork is faded; there is surface rust to the running boards although the motionwork and valve gear remain bright under a coating of dried oil.
We've given the boiler a twice working pressure test - happy to warranty as structurally sound, there is one bead of water forms on a construction rivet head in the firebox and another on the nut of a longitudinal stay - both would take up under steam.
