A particularly well made 3 1/2 inch gauge Mogul, winner of the builder's club's Challenge Cup in 1973.
In close to "ex-works" condition throughout, the engine steams freely and runs very well - there's some video of it here.
Although now nearly 50 years old, it appears to have had very little use from new - judging by the condition of the motionwork, valve gear and wheelsets, we'd speculate it's never actually been on a track.
Fitted with a pair of new safety valves, injector and clack valve, the commercially built boiler by Chambers passed recent hydraulic and steam tests, with new certification issued.
