A Caledonian 0-6-0T to Martin Evans' popular "Rob Roy" design - pretty much an ideal beginner's locomotive in this gauge.

Silver soldered copper boiler, feed by injector and axle pump with auxiliary hand pump in side tank. Working pressure 80psi. Gunmetal cylinders with inside slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear with pole reverser on footplate. Mechanical lubricator.

The engine steams freely and runs well. It has a club certificate with hydraulic test expiring in April 2011, next steam test is due June 2010.
