A 3 1/2 inch gauge Caledonian Railway 0-6-0T to Martin Evans' "Rob Roy" design, an older engine, quite well made in the first place although requiring some work to recommission for steaming.

The engine has come to us with club boiler certification, with next hydraulic test due in 2026. One superheater element is leaking at the firebox, it needs either repair or replacement.

The chassis runs on air in either direction with some leakage past valves and/or pistons.
