An older engine, the commercially built boiler has had a hydraulic test with new certification issued. The chassis runs in both directions, although not self-starting in forward gear; there is some leakage past the valves.
Clacks for axle and hand pumps both leak slightly, as does the whistle valve. Steam brakes currently inoperative although, for what use they do on an engine of this size and weight, we wouldn't spend too much time on them!
