An older engine, this one was well-built in the first place and has done its share of running since - there is some wear in the motionwork and valve gear now which would benefit from rebushing over next winter.
The boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test and appears sound and leak free - we would warranty it as such.
The chassis turns over freely and runs on air in either direction.
A handsome engine, it could be run with minor recommissioning work, whilst at the same time providing ample scope as a longer term improver.
