A 3 1/2 inch gauge O.S "Britannia", assembled from a kit twenty years ago and unsteamed from new. It's from the same collection as the O.S Shay, Porter and Krauss we've had in recently, having spent most of its life sitting on a landing in the owner's house - paintwork is mainly good although the lining has rubbed through in places. It's been fitted with the optional injector kit, most of the plumbing has been connected up with one or two loose ends, regulator rod is missing.

Coal-fired silver-soldered copper boiler, four-element superheater, working pressure 80psi. Feed by injector and axle pump with auxiliary hand pump in the tender. Twin safety valves.

Gunmetal cylinders with piston valves actuated by Walschaert's valve gear with pole reverser in cab. All axles and the connecting rods run on needle roller bearings.

The engine comes complete with its original display track - it's as close as you'll get to buying a new O.S Britannia nowadays, the kit has been unavailable for some years.
