An example of LBSC's "Mona", rather a good design for an inside cylinder 0-6-2 - I've had several and they always seem to go well. Slightly bigger than the beginner's standards "Tich" and "Juliet", there is a greater reserve of fire and water in the boiler to play with, which makes driving somewhat easier, as well as giving a rather more pulling power.

Professionally-built silver soldered copper superheated boiler, feed by crosshead pump and injector with an auxiliary hand pump in side tank. Working pressure 80psi, twin safety valves. Gunmetal cylinders, slide valves actuated by Hackworth valve gear, mechanical lubricator behind front buffer beam.
