I last sold this one back in 2006, it has recently come back in part exchange for a 5 inch gauge engine. It's had a recent club test, is rather more polished than last time round and still goes well.
Built by a member of the club I used to belong to when we lived in Berkshire, it had rather a reputation as a "goer". Well made, I've no idea where the design came from (and I suspect the nameplate reflects how often the owner had to confess the same). All sorts of interesting little features, including a "cassette" ashpan and grate arrangement that drops out of the back bringing the trailing wheels with it.
Comes complete with a purpose-built carrying cradle and a pair of very substantial wooden storage crates.
