It's recently come in as something of a stalled "project", the paintwork partly stripped and a leaking dome which now requires attention - the workshop notes recording, somewhat pithily:
"Runs on air nicely still, someone has been into the dome which now leaks, snapped a couple of bolts and then made a half arse job of sorting it out, off centre screws etc, it wants pulling apart and doing properly before a hydraulic test can be issued, the rest of the boiler looks ok"
A worthwhile project, with the potential to produce a handsome engine that's already known to be a good runner.
If ever an engine deserves a good home - offering experience rather than enthusiasm - it's this one!
