The boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test with new certification issued. The chassis - with "all present and correct" three cylinders and Gresley-Holcroft valve gear - runs beautifully on air.
This one has come to us from a long-time customer; now in his eighties he has made an honest appraisal of just how many of his projects he will get around to finishing, thinning out those which - though worthy of restoration - he's unlikely to get around to in the next twenty years!
