A 3 1/2 inch gauge LMS Mogul to LBSC's "Princess Marina" design. Built by a man responsible for several other good models, including the Burrell Gold Medal tractor we currently have in, the engine was completed in recent years but has never been steamed from new - it spent its life in his living room, run occasionally on compressed air.Silver soldered copper boiler, 80psi working pressure, feed by axle pump and injector with hand pump in tender. Gunmetal cylinders with piston valves actuated by Walschaert's gear, pole reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator.
Boiler has had a hydraulic test and is sound, chassis runs well on air. The engine is missing one safety valve where an adaptor has been fitted to run it on air, cab steps need reattaching on one side and the paintwork is protective rather than decorative.
