A venerable example of a 3 1/2 inch gauge LMS Black 5 to LBSC's "Doris" design. An older engine, with worn paintwork and truly horrible red painted "detailing" in the cab.

On test the chassis was reluctant to run on air, most escaping past the pistons and/or valves.

The boiler looks to have had only a handful of steamings although, on hydraulic test exhibited copious leaks in the firebox.
